As a church, with a growing congregation that meets in multiple locations, they needed a website that would allow them to communicate all their weekly events and venues to the congregation. HillsongMyChurch was built to be a useful resource and experience, not just a website, for members to easily find information. We made use of google maps, plugged in podcasts and, designed a video player "jukebox" for visitors to get more out of the website. Hillsong London saw visitor numbers to their website increase dramatically after the launch of the new site. The process of adding and managing to do's was simplified by adding focus tabs and relevant buttons while keeping clutter to a bear minimum. A set of relevant applications icons and a unique home screen icon were designed, as well as, the Doris logo getting a refresh. When I saw Malcolm James Kutner’s work, I was struck but Malcolm’s careful attention to detail and the relationship between form, function and space. I attempted to take these attributes and create a website design that would show off Malcolm’s spectacular designs. The site was designed to be extremely clean and simple to enable Malcolm’s work to be the main focus. Smooth animated transitions were added to the pages to add polish to the overall result.
